Purple heron still showing well! with GWE, L/egret, G/heron, & lots of G C Grebe, ! X LBB Gull !
I had to wait about an hour this morning for the Juv Purple Heron to show and when it did it flew to the North side opposite the Manor House. It then disappeared for about 15 mins. When it reappeared closer to the Manor it was completely unbothered by a dog swimming nearby. So, I guess the Purple Heron feels very much at home on the Reservoir.
