Single Barn Swallow with a group of Sand Martins over Brean Down early this morning,
Several small flocks of Sand Martin over Noahs Lake this morning but all moved through rapidly. couldn’t find any Swallows among them. One flock bunched up at one point probably in response to a passing Buzzard.
At least 200 Sand Martins over Noah’s Lake this morning feeding in a very loose flock. Then at 9.20, they all formed a tight ball above the railway line and were joined by a single Swallow before the whole group disappeared to the North. Great sight.
