Per Twitter: the Richard’s Pipit was still present at Steart Marshes this morning c.200 metres after the Mendip Hide on the the grassy bank.
The Richard’s Pipit still this morning at Steart Marshes again along the bank between the Mendip hide and the R. Parrett. This morning it was about 100m from the Parrett. Also a Bearded Tit in the reeds working its way along the watercourse towards the road opposite side the car park entrance.
A reminder if you have any records for 2019 could you please get them in to me by the end of January so work on Somerset Birds 2019 can get underway. Don’t assume that someone else will have submitted details of a well watched bird, it can be the case that no one sends it in. Records that have been already submitted to BirdTrack will be downloaded so there is no need to send those in. A big thanks to those you have already sent theirs in.
