early doors today,top of Longwood, a Sparrowhawk, 3 Field fare, a Thrush,an audible only gathering of Skylark,,a stroll along the “Gorge walk” and caught sight of 2 Nuthatch foraging amongst fallen leaves, and a couple of Pheashant

Saturday early doors,damp and boggy underfoot here, but sightings of Buzzard, jay, variety of tits and chaffinch, 2 song thrush along with 4 Goldcrest and 2 treecreepers, and POSSIBLY a Lesser spotted woody,about 60 yards distant, having been watching GSW on a feeder in the gardens nearby for the last week, this bird was noticeably smaller but as distinct,
