American Golden Plover was there around 5pm yesterday for about 20 mins, having landed in sight after a peregrine put everything up. Flew off again while I was looking at the two spoonbills, so not sure which direction. A whimbrel and turnstone among the Dunlin and Ringed Plover at Wall Common around 6pm.

2 Spoonbills, adult & a sub-adult (ad type bill pattern but showed a single black primary tip) on Otterhampton Marsh from the Quantock View hide late morning; after a poor showing of waders, just a few Dunlin & Ringed Plover, over high water at Wall Common. Also on Steart Marshes, a Hobby and 2 Wheatears.

This am 10:30ish a group of 8 Spoonbills high over Otterhampton Marsh, lost to sight moving eastward.  On Otterhampton Marsh Greenshank and Ruff and one spectacular leucistic/albino ‘ringed plover’, possibly a LRP.
