Pair of stunning Bullfinches, also a pair of Blackcaps both using water bath at the same time and 2 Songthrushs in my garden in Bishop’s Hull near Taunton.
About two weeks ago i heard a chiffchaff in full song where i work in the Piddle valley,this i think is my earliest sighting or perhaps more accurately,hearing. From then on i have had Blackbirds singing morning and evening here at Little weston while last week i heard my first Skylark of the year.Very welcome sounds after such a dreary winter.

Today, Monday, Thurlbear Plantation, S of Taunton, Blackcap singing most beautifully but previouly, last Thursday week, 26 Feb, Chiffchaff in full song in urban gardens off Hamilton Road Taunton.
