Guessing this is the same bird. Observed drifting west over Watchet at 12:50 on 26th August. The narrow ring is clearly visible on the right foot.

I received a report of a single White Stork, ringed with light blue GB8E (and photographed - so confirmed!) on outskirts of Bridgwater on 24th August.  Stayed for 2-3 days on the roof top of private house. Flew off north.  I have reported it to the White Stork reintroduction project http://www.whitestorkproject.org.  This bird is one of the release of 24 birds that took place earlier in August, some of which have been seen down in Dorset and Cornwall in recently.  The white stork project are keen for any sightings reports of the released birds.
