20 Brent Geese off Hinkley Point at high tide this morning. Mixture of pale-bellied and dark-bellied race birds, but unfortunately they were distant when I saw them (from by Stolford cottages), so I couldn’t be sure how many of each - they disappeared while I was getting closer. No seaduck at all, in millpond conditions, and no hoped-for Wheatears - the only migrants were a few Siskins flying over.

The 3 Common Scoter were there again this afternoon just after high tide, but I couldn’t find any Brent Geese (again!)

At least 8 Pale-bellied Brents among a group of 14 Brent Geese on the sea off Hinkley Point just after HW this morning, but nothing else of interest on a flat calm sea, and certainly no sign of any scoter.
