A morning walk from Webber’s Post along Dickys path to Bagley Combe produced the following migrants:
Pied Flycatcher 1 male Hollow Combe
Whinchat 1 male
Tree Pipit 2 displaying males
Cuckoo 2
Willow Warbler 13
Redstart 2 males
Blackcap 2 males
Chiffchaff 1

A walk from Horner village to Stoke Pero and back to Horner this morning produced 3 male Pied Flycatchers, 4 male common Redstart and 1 Cuckoo.
There was interesting behaviour by a Dipper, which while foraging in the shallows suddenly flew up to catch a flying insect several feet above the stream.
