Here in Wells we are unsure whether we have a proliferation or perhaps an applause, of jackdaws? At any rate it’s clearly a good year…

Large Jackdaw murmuration (>500) over Herne Hill, Ilminster approx 21:15 yesterday evening. Chance that I was there to witness, but presume it is a regular event as Herne Hill appeared to be used as the roost.
