Hello everybody

I’m a local birder, but also research masters student. I’m looking for people who live around and visit the Levels to speak with for a research project I’m doing. The project is about the connections that people have with wilder landscapes like the Avalon Marshes, how they value their nature and heritage, in comparison with their feelings about more traditional agricultural parts of the landscape.

I’d love to meet some birders for informal interviews, about half-hour long, in the coming months. I’ll mostly be asking about which parts of the area you enjoy and your feelings on the Avalon Marshes restoration. We could even have our chat whilst watching birds out on the reserves. I’m also happy to buy you a drink somewhere! Either way, I can meet practically anytime in the next 6 weeks and I’m happy to work around your schedule.
