I have not seen the male brambling for a few days, but today a male Siskin has been coming, a first for my garden.

A male and 2 females this morning, plus a Song Thrush that I haven’t spotted in the garden for years.

Single male Brambling on our feeders in Shipham this morning, great to see as we haven’t had one for a few years.

I’ve just spotted a male Brambling after sunflower hearts on the ground in the garden, first sighting this year, but have seen one before this winter. The feeders are blowing around wildly but needed to refill them several times today. Others coming today, House Sparrow, Gold/Green/Chaffinch, Blue/Great/Long-tailed/Marsh/Coal Tit, Robin, Dunnock, Wren,  Greater Spotted Woodpecker, Nuthatch, Blackbird, Wood Pigeon, Collared Dove, Magpie Emptied out the nest boxes last week, except the one stuffed full of bedding, nuts and berries occupied by a wood mouse and put up a new one near it that has 2 interested Blue Tits.

Single male Brambling on my garden feeders this a.m. with flock of mixed finches. First seen this winter.
