I’ve seen a few Barn Owls recently around Crewkerne. Two last week driving the A356 between the A303 and town, then another near ‘West Country Cars’, East Chinnock. Finally, good views of one hunting near the Podimore Roundabout on the A303. Just hope they stay high and avoid the cars. Having not seen any for some time, I would imagine this increase in sightings is a result of dusk moving to coincide with times when I’m driving. Moving to BST will probably mess that up now.

One at Greylake this evening low over the reserve at 17:50.
