One on West Moor this morning.  Records of SEO on this part of the moors are few and this is only my second on 20 years of visits.

Comerslade Exmoor,SS736373,W Eight Short-eared owls seen though up to 12 reported giving very good views hunting and perched ,on occasion several were heard to be calling which ive never encountered before,at one time it seemed as if Owls were everywhere. Other birds included at least 2 Ringtail Hen Harrier a male bird was also reported plus several kestrel and c4o Golden Plover
