Tonights Gull roost included 5 Iceland gulls of various ages the 1st w Glaucous gull 9 Goosander and the Great Northern diver was also seen from the starting hut but distant

Grt Northern Diver off Bessom Bridge at 16:45 hrs. A 1st-winter Glaucous Gull from the yacht club starters hut when we got there at 17:00 and then 3 1st-winter Iceland Gulls arrived between 17:30 and 17:40 hrs - one of them with faded plumage, looking startlingly white on the water. Also 5 Goosander and 2 Shelduck.

Another good roost for white winged gulls this evening with 4 Iceland and 1 Glaucous gull all 1st w plus 2 Goosander

3 Iceland Gull all 1st w came into roost this evening viewed from the sailing club starting hut plus 8 Goosander which have been lacking in there absence of late
