Not sure whether it’s the same bird and/or the one from Cheddar resvr, but there’s been a male red-breasted Merganser on the Huntspill River since 12th January. Still there this morning, associating with a GC grebe in the vicinity of Sloway Lane bridge.

On falling tide this evening a male Red-breasted Merganser flying downstream opposite the Fenning.
