Highlights of a visit to Greylake, great views of a very large number of Golden Plovers, the birds were swirling around in an unsettled manner perhaps caused by the presence of a Peregrine although I did not notice one, a Sparrow Hawk alighted and perched in a small bush in front of the hide, one solitary Black-tailed-Godwit among the Duck flock.
Outward bound Tealham Moor one Buzzard, returning home one Kestrel, ten Grey Herons, five Little Egrets.
