At least 4 Red Kites seen between 10:30 & 14:30 yesterday over Chard Junction, flying generally in a NE direction.
Single Red Kite over A303 at Boxstone Hill, between Ilminster and South Petherton, at 5.00 pm today
There were at least 43 inbound over Exmouth on the 25th, presumably some of those below?
27/05 Over Steart this morning another two Red Kites to add to today’s list - both birds moulting flight feathers.
One over Screetch Owl Bridgwater this morning.

A single Red Kite flying east over Ilminster, along Shudrick Valley at approx 07:40 this morning.
2 red Kites this afternoon by the old school on the outskirts of Wedmore [cheddar side] and possibly more than that, as i was moving in traffic,unable to pull over , among a gathering of 7-10 birds floating on low thermals
Rather surprised to have a Red Kite over the house the morning, on the south side of Bridgwater, fairly high up drifting east.
Bedraggled looking Red Kite very low over Bishopswood on the Blackdowns 6pm Friday 5th May. Drifting steadily Eastward.
Red KIte over farmland at Wick on the lower slopes of Glastonbury Tor this afternoon.
A Red Kite flew over the pumping station at Tealham moor yesterday (Sunday). A very welcome surprise!
Also a Wheatear and plenty of singing Skylarks
