Steady movement of sand martins heading north over the Huntspill sluice area this afternoon - about 40 in small groups, and one larger group of 25 which circled for a few minutes before continuing. Also kingfisher, cetti’s and plenty of finches, mipits, chiffchaffs and skylarks in song.

c.500 Sand Martins at Cheddar Reservoir this afternoon. I counted 520 in 20’s during a slow ‘scope scan over the water. No sign of any Swallows or a hoped for Little Gull - should pass thro’ here soon?
