An immature male Montagu’s Harrier in the centre of the Quantocks this morning at 06:00am. It was in the Lowsey Thorn area but quickly moved off towards Halsway Hill. I was on the Quantocks for a further three hours and didn’t see it again. A flock of nine Crossbills flew over high to the south at Crowcombe Park Gate.
