Along with about a dozen Swifts at Hamwall there was a Cuckoo on the dead tree line near the Sharpham entrance. Either the same bird or another fly to behind VP2.  A single Hobby was hunting with little success above the Tor View Hide and four Bitterns flying infant of VP2. All this before midday. A hobby was above the Visitors centre on SHapwick Rd at approx 12pm. Later at the Raised Hide at Westhey a solitary Hobby was hunting again with little success. Possibly the same bird?
