Yesterday afternoon between the showers,lots of House and Sand martins,Swallows and Swifts feeding low over the reed beds,1 GWE, 1Marsh harrier, 2 Hobbies hunting in the fields around the reserve, lots of Reed bunting activity,male and female,Reed and Sedge warbler singing and a lovely slow fly by of a Bittern across the reserve.

Yesterday afternoon there was 7 singing Reed buntings, 3GWE, numerous Sedge and Reed warblers,and 5 cygnets exploring the world with their parents.

Up to 20 Reed warblers this afternoon,plus…Sedge warbler,Lesser whitethroat,Willow warbler,5 Sand martins,Swallows,2 Cuckoos calling,2 Bullfinches,1 Bittern booming and numerous Skylarks.
