Two Whoopers flying east along Bossington Beach yesterday (29th Dec), then inland, just after noon.
Also Chiffchaff on approach to Beach, and Peregrine in from sea, west of Hurlstone Pt.
Nowt of note spotted at sea, on a calm day.
Hurlstone pt this morning saw a single Black-throated diver and 5 Red-throated diver, a skua drifted out on the ebbing tide for at least 20 minutes before taking flight and was an adult Arctic pale morph a Razorbill and a single Harbour porpoise was also recorded
2 adult Whooper swans were on the flooded field behind the Holnicote estate offices which is opposite the turning for Selworthy village
