Amazing numbers of Great White Egrets being reported from Ham Wall at the moment. Yesterday 26 together in the Loxtons section and this morning at least 21 seen. Often perched in trees and visible from the main track also using reedbeds behind VP2 and in front of the Loxtons screen. 8 seen together in plain sight in Waltons this morning too.
Some birds are definitely roosting in Loxtons each night along with a few Little Egrets and Grey Heron. 2 Glossy Ibis flew over Loxtons this morning too heading North East.
