That’s a Hen Harrier - some great pictures of the frosty moor!
Saturday afternoon 3rd Dec.
Passing along Tealham Moor to Catcott lows one Sparrow Hawk, one Kestrel and a Buzzard perching on a post being admired by two Crows. Continuing to Catcott not expecting anything more exciting than the usual winter duck flock imagine my delight as a Female Hen Harrier made a slow pass in front of the hide to return a little later chased by a Crow it then made a second pass, sadly light was fading but some record photos on website.
Can someone please confirm the bird is a Hen Harrier.
