Distant views of an extremely dark raptor at the Eastern end of Waltons this afternoon. It was flying away, so difficult to get a good view. I thought probably juvenile Marsh Harrier, but on the drive home started to dream about Black Kites. Highly improbable I know, but just floating this here in case anyone else has seen this bird and can clarify.
