Brian Gibbs, Tom Raven, Paul Clement and I had very good flight and resting views of the Pallid Harrier at around 9.00 this morning in not very good light. Only the second ever sighting for me so thanks to all who have reported it.

a Juv Pallid Harrier and a ring-tail Hen Harrier found at Greylake yesterday by Sandra Padfield. I’m in Cornwall and forwarded Sandra’s e-mail last night to the County Recorder, but just noted that the news hasn’t reached the messageboard yet. Birding media are showing that the Pallid Harrier is still present and showing well this morning, so good luck to those who go there.
