14-Dec-15 (morning)
Two apparent Siberian Chiffchaffs together and showing well along the north side of the canal, east of VP2 and between it and the Env Agency Bridge. One of them at least giving a high pitched ‘peep’ call (that I could just hear, with my loss of high freq sounds) and one showing a very weak wing-bar (pale-tip to some greater coverts) on its LH wing.

Also 4 Bullfinches nearby, and 3 Water Pipits together with a dozen-or-so Pied Wagtails on the cut, wet marshy-area along the north side of the canal, between the new footbridge and the left-turn signpost for the Avalon Hide. No sign of the Dusky Warbler, but only a brief visit along here after I had finished my WeBS count.
