Went to the Brue Estuary over this morning’s HW, but no sign of any hoped for Curlew Sandpipers, however a Spotted Redshank among the hordes (600+) of roosting Redshanks with a few Turnstones. Also 3 fly-over Bar-tailed Godwits, but only 4 Ringed Plover and 2 Dunlin. Then to Burnham seafront for an hours seawatch, and saw 3 single Storm Petrels (2 close-in, one pursued by gulls) plus an adult Gannet - all flew eastwards, down-channel. Earlier, others had seen 5 more Stormies, a Gannet and a juv Pom Skua.
