Superb evening at Greylake on Friday 3rd June for both birdwatching and photography.
The normal “cast” we’re making full use of the evening light.
Great views of Marsh Harriers, buzzard, 3 cranes (flying over), bitterns 2 maybe 3 including a male boomer, curlew, godwits (too distance to work out what), lapwing, redshank, grass snake. The reeds were alive to sound and movements of buntings and warblers.
In the car park there was a beautiful male greenfinch.
All in all a wonderful few hours after a day at the office desk.
