No sign of any Whinchats on Tealham Moor this morning. It was very quite except for c.20 Cattle Egrets here & on Tadham Moor. A Kingfisher hovering over the North Drain at Jack’s Drove bridge and a flock of c.40 Linnets was about the best on offer.

At least 4 Whinchats together on Tealham Moor this morning. At the western end of the Moor just after Rattling Bow bridge, where road makes a sharp RH bend. They were perching on the wire of an elec sheep fence along the edge of a weedy field immediatley south of the road bend.

Also c. 30 Cattle Egrets among cattle on Tadham Moor at jct of Totney Drove & the B3151.

5 Whinchats at Heal around midday today.
