A gentle walk along the River Brue from the bridge at Baltonsborough in the direction of Barton St David this morning turned up a pair of Kingfishers in courtship display. Also a pair of Grey Wagtail, a handsome male Stonechat, a Kestrel, several ‘loafing’ Common Buzzard and a Cormorant that caught, and then lost, a small Perch.
A good number of new Badger latrines also noted.
