A single male in my Wellington garden on 8th May was the first since Jan.2015 ,so still very scarce as a garden bird in Wellington area.

I have a pair of Greenfinches in my garden in Westhay. They have been there before but nice to see they still are.

Does anyone think greenfinches may be making a comeback after the trichomonosis crash? We have a pair in the garden here in Wells after years of absence, and I’ve heard them elsewhere locally too. Last year I couldn’t find a single pair anywhere in Wells.
