Drake American Wigeon still on Noah’s Lake this morning (10:00/12:00) from Noah’s Hide. Also a drake Green-winged Teal, female Garganey, female Goldeneye & 2 Egyptian Geese among the throng of Wigeon with Mallard, Pintail, Shoveler, Teal & a few Tufted Duck, but no sign of y’day’s reported 2 Whooper Swans. A Kingfisher perching on low overhanging branches looking just left from the hide.

Per BirdGuides: Am Wigeon still from Noah’s Hide on Noah’s Lake today, also 30 Russian White-fronts & 4 Tundra Bean Geese.

Hi Jeff. that is interesting. Hilary and I walked along the railway line past Noah’s on Saturday which was partly frozen so most birds were too distant to identify. Merlin app picked up both an American Wigeon and a Whitefront somewhere on Noah’s.
