Almost certainly - have seen several at cheddar recently
Continuous movement of swallows through Stert Point this morning. Also meadow pipits, two wheatears and a whinchat. Eight wigeon on the sea: there were 35 wigeon at Meare Marshes yesterday and 15 at Ham Wall on Sunday. More than just the very few that seem to spend the summer here, so the start of the winter influx?
130+ Meadow Pipits and a similar Number of Swallows seen moving through near Witham Friary this evening, as well as a few White Wagtails observed on the edge of Coleford late morning. A bit of a relief to see a Barn Owl this evening. Meadow Pipits trickling through regularly this morning, pointing to a large movement of Birds today. Evidently a decent influx of Siskins at the weekend. At least 60 on our little walk to Ham on Sunday.
