A tilled field by Yeap’s Drove in my square north of Godney produced a whinchat, half a dozen of both meadow pipits and pied wagtails, and two mistle thrush, all picking over the recently cultivated land. Also two grey wagtail in the rhyne. Surveying gets you out to places you might otherwise miss!
