A dull morning with rain later but a good variety seen. Totals include Canada farm.
Pride of place for a drake Ring-necked Duck on the area of Noah’s lake beside the south drain. 2 Bittern sightings, 2 Whooper Swans, 2 Kingfishers.
1412 Wigeon, 69 Pintail, 35 Shoveler, 220 Teal, 66 Gadwall, 51 Mallard and 67 Tufted ducks. Just one Pochard, 2 Coot and no Moorhens recorded.      5 Snipe were the only waders.
4 GC Grebes, 4 GW Egrets and 2 Grey Herons. The only Raptor seen was a single Sparrowhawk.
