The Westhay 2024 born odd plumaged Marsh Harrier has appeared briefly on three days this past week at Catcott,  still recognisable not only for its overall pale colouring but specifically by the right wing showing wo dark feather secondary groups. I would presume that it has moulted this year by now??  Maybe Female? looks large enough?

The poor weather this summer seems to have resulted in several broods being underfed whilst their feathers were developing
