Slightly late posting.  On this morning’s very high tide, driven by WNW winds gusting force 10, waves breached the sea defences around the End Hide and re-distributed all the heavy driftwood on the strandline over onto the marsh.  Very spectacular.  Disappointingly no petrels or shearwaters but:

Please note that because of repeated ingress of the tides, the End Hide can be reached only with wellies/waders that reach above the knees.  Or of course you could go barefoot and in shorts 😊 .
