Concerned about a decline in wintering records on the coast and Levels in Somerset again this winter just 2 records for South Levels this winter despite many visits and 1 for Steart.
Previous years back to post DDT era (1960/70s) I had many more records even 4 different individuals in an hour at some sites on 2 occasions.
Has anyone else noted a scarcity in recent times?
