Good morning 07.00-11.00 with Mat Ridley across high tide (07.30).  Highlights were:

Red-breasted Merganser, 1 f. (only my fourth here)
Little Stint, 1   (somewhat unseasonal)
Spoonbill, 3 imm. feeding very close to the hide belw the Tower Hide
[Water Rail, 1 heard only below the Tower Hide]

Large numbers of waders with a conservative12,000+ Dunlin and 1,000 Knot on the Fenning;
