Red Kites are back again near Ammerdown junction, very difficult to count but 15 to 20 plus with single Buzzard and corvidae;

Large number of Red Kites congregating over muck heaps in left hand field just after Ammerdown crossroads on A362 Radstock to Frome road - couldn’t stop to count but appeared well into double figures.

Kettles of as many as 50 Red Kites being seen in the Ammerdown Area. I think numbers peaked at around 75 last Winter.
