One along the main track from Ashcott Corner car park. In the tall, thick, trackside hedgerow between the western end of the Discovery Trail boardwalk and the Tower Hide. It was found on Sunday (29-Oct) and is favouring the hedgerow for about 20m either side of a very prominent tall bare tree. It is mainly elusive (calls only) and I spent 2 hrs y’day mid-afternoon along with Julian Thomas without a sighting. Back there again this morning and in 2hrs (09:30-11:30), between showers, managed just 2 extremely brief views - blink and it was gone! Also good views of a Firecrest in same locn.
