Adult beginning to moult from summer to winter plumage on Noah’s Lake Shapwick, still present at 16:00 hrs, found y’day early evening by some lucky birder!
Watched hawking insects early- to mid-afternoon in NW corner of the Lake and between these feeding flights resting far out from the Noah’s Hide on the same small tree stump just poking above the water surface.
