Two Sand Martins were among a diffuse House Martin flock of nine, heading north through Chipstable this morning, with two Swallows in the party, temporarily joined by the two pairs of Swallows that are establishing themselves here for the summer (hopefully)

Only the second year I’ve seen Sand Martins here, in 24 years (the previous year being 2011; and with two others heading north together on 30Mar23)
