Counted 124 Snipe feeding on flooded meadow south of River Yeo (viewed from ST436262) this morning.  Probably lots more, as the sun was behind them.

Others will know how this compares with typical.  But way higher than my own previous Snipe “flock”.

Plenty of Wigeon; Mallard, Canadas, gulls (Herring, Black-headed, one LBB), 6 Little Egret together, winter thrushes.  All in all a nice busy spot to happen upon, while passing through.
