I did see one Siskin seen last week, on a sunny morning at Ham Wall, but no Redpoll.

My first visit to Ham Wall since the big freeze so I was pleased to record 40 species in a 90 minute wander to VP2 and back. Some Water Pipits north of VP1 were probably the highlight but I was also surprised to see a pair of Blackcaps and a Bullfinch was another nice bird to see. Still no Siskin or Redpoll. The Great Tits and Robins were still being very bold asking for food which sadly I didn’t have so one Great Tit decided to try to take a bit of my finger!
