I haven’t seen the actual bird, just the tweet that has now been deleted & that record withdrawn from birdguides. Seems the only bewick in country is at Potteric Carr in Yorkshire, rest are still on the continent, whilst whoopers have arrived en masse.

Yep. First view thought Bewick on saw ( seemed smaller than Cheddar whooper. )Second viewing , lot of yellow beak , beyond nostrils ?

On from Cheddar,  - a lone Bewick at Loxtons. Unexpected after Cheddar Whoopers. Finishing with very fine murmeration., enhanced by Peregrine and Marsh in attendance
