A modest number of species this morning on our SOS field meeting but good views of groups of Bearded Reedling in the reedbeds to the north of the main path, and a juvenile Common Tern was seen from Noahs Hide but never close. Good numbers of Sand Martin over Noahs and a couple of Reed Warbler near the Tower Hide and a Tufted Duck with a bulging crop after eating water snails whole were also of interest. Also one Clouded Yellow butterfly was seen opposite the tower hide.
