2 juv Black Terns still present this morning, also 2 Egyptian Geese, 2 GW Egrets, a Bittern in flight, 4 Hobby, 3 Marsh Harriers and lots of hirundine, mostly Swallows & Sand Martins.

16 Wigeon on the Meare Heath lake in front of the tower hide this morning. On Noah’s there were a scattering of ducks but no Wigeon. Tufted and Pochard noted. Four Black Terns were hunting along the west side of the lake along with numerous Black hdd Gulls. A Hobby was sitting in the usual dead Tree on the west side of 70 acres. No warblers seen or heard this morning.
